We are a non-profitable US-based organization providing support to children all around Cameroon.

8+ Years in Action

Irina Project Initiative a charitable foundation, was Founded by Dr. Irin Njuakom based in Texas, USA with operating branches in Bamenda, Cameroon . The main goal of the organization is to address the major heath and humanitarian crisis in Bamenda,  where diseases such as typhoid, cholera, schistosomiasis, hepatitis A, and diarrhea associated with poor sanitary conditions are the leading causes of increased morbidity and mortality.

DR. Irin Njuakom

Founder & Director

Dr. Irin Njuakom founded Irina Project Initiative in 2014 as a means to sustainably provide humanitarian aid, proper healthcare, child protection, education, food security and youth development programs around Cameroon. In her role as Director, Dr. Irin has made successful advances on Irina’s project initiative mission to ensure sustainable community development in Kom region, better health and education for children, and Environmental protection.

Having lived in this community growing up, Dr. Irin experience first hand the challenges of living in a community with poor education, healthcare and development opportunities which has left the people of her community in some of the harshest living condition. Having grown and been blessed with the power to grand opportunities she decided to invest in her community to help break the shackles of under development.

Prior to creating Irina Project Initiative, Dr. Irin have been working for the Veterans Affair (travel nurse corps) for over 12 years and during this time she exhibited extreme compassion and care for the patients she worked with, leading to her wining numerous awards of outstanding performance and professionalism.

Also, during this time she  earned her self a Ph.D in Public Health from a Master of Science in Nursing(MSN) from University of North Dakota and a and numerous certifications.
